Activities vary by locale. All affiliates offer Marriage Encounter weekends, some the full 44 hours and others shortened to cover the same process with only one night's stay. Many hold fund-raisers, dances, picnics, renewal nights shortly after each weekend, and organizational meetings either with Boards or at "community nights" that are open to all encountered people in the area. Most affiliates, even some who no longer hold weekends, continue with follow-up sessions that go by various names, in which couples meet regularly to continue the process that began on their weekends with the addition of sharing and social time (Continuing Dialog Groups, Spirals, IMAGE, and other names are used). Some affiliates offer anniversary weekends for people who previously encountered.

Travel teams

Travel teams are available to help put on weekends in locations without enough team members or without a local affiliate. If you are interested in organizing a Marriage Encounter weekend in your area with the assistance of a travel team, please contact the NME Executive Couple for details.
